We believe that serving the local church is an important part of the Christian life. Our gatherings are only made possible by an amazing team who give up their time, and there is room on that team for you.
Our Sunday gatherings only happen because a team gives up their time to help. That might mean setting up, packing down, operating the projector, keeping count of how many people come through the doors, joining the welcome team or preparing communion. Let us know if you are willing to serve in any of these areas.
Sung worship is a key element of our Sunday gatherings, and we are so thankful for the time and energy our worship team puts into helping us worship Jesus every week. Do you sing? Can you play an instrument? Let us know.
Do you have a heart for sharing the good news of Jesus with people who have not yet heard it? We would love to hear from you.
Not all of our service happens on Sundays. We also need people with creative gifts such as graphic design, writing and crafts. A lot of our communication as a church happens online through social media, newsletters and this website, and creative hands make it possible.
We always need people with an interest or gifting in technology. Do you have experience with PA and sound, websites or recording, or are you willing to learn? Please get in touch.
A small prayer team serves on Sundays and coordinates other prayer events through the year. If God has given you a special burden for prayer, whether corporate prayer or praying one to one, we would love to have you on board.
Our children and young people are a valued and important part of the Grace Church family, and we want to serve them well. If you have a passion for working with children, we would like to hear from you. Alongside Sundays, we hold events through the year with specific activities for families and young children.
Grace Church has a voluntary internship program. The shape of each internship depends largely on the individual, their gifting and their skill set, and it can be tailored to suit their capacity to serve the church.
